Smith Street Studio is a versatile event space in the heart of Yorktown, IN — perfect for open houses, celebrations, sales events, workshops, and more.
Our main studio room spans approximately 1,000 square feet (22’ x 46’) and comfortably accommodates around 50 guests for seated meals or even more for open-house style gatherings. With 11-foot black ceilings, wood flooring, clean white walls, and bright lighting, the space feels open, modern, and welcoming — ideal for bringing people together.
Every rental includes 10 eight-person tables, 50 chairs, a basic sound system, and a convenient food prep area with a refrigerator and freezer. Set up the space to fit your style and enjoy a smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish.

EVENT RENTAL Information
Just like hosting an event with us, our pricing is designed to be easy. One single rate gives you access to the studio for the entire day. Come and go as you need using your personal PIN code. Set up early, head home to get ready, and return refreshed for your celebration. No rushing. No hassle.
We also keep restrictions to a minimum. Choose any caterer or outside food vendor you like. Bring your own food. Bring in equipment. Decorate to make the space your own (we just ask that you use painter’s tape and hanging rods to protect the walls).

Portrait studio RENTAL Information
Professional and hobby photographers are welcome to book Smith Street Studio for private sessions with their clients.
Our main studio offers approximately 1,000 square feet (22’ x 46’) of shooting space with 11-foot black ceilings, wood flooring, and clean white walls — a flexible environment that adapts to your style.
Two 10-foot horizontal backdrop rods on ceiling hoists allow you to quickly swap backgrounds and keep sessions moving efficiently. A private dressing room with a full-length mirror provides comfort and convenience for outfit changes and client preparation.
9′ paper rolls are available to rent upon request. We regularly keep black and white in stock, some additional colors may be available, contact us to find out more.

Terms and Conditions
Smith Street Studio by Indiana Mosaic
Waiver & Agreement of Understanding
This Agreement is entered into between Indiana Mosaic (“Studio”) and the individual or organization reserving use of the Studio (“Client”).
By reserving and/or using the Studio, Client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.
- Use of Space – Client is granted temporary, exclusive use of Smith Street Studio by Indiana Mosaic, located at 9152 W Smith St, Yorktown, IN, per the date/times listed on their invoice–rental period as defined at booking (“Session”). The Studio is provided as-is, with all faults.
- Responsibility for Guests and Conduct – Client is solely responsible for the conduct, safety, and supervision of all guests, visitors, vendors, contractors, or invitees present during the Session.
- Equipment Use and Safety – All equipment must be used properly. Unsafe equipment must not be used.
- Access and Surveillance – Studio staff may access the premises as needed. Interior areas are monitored by two video recording devices in the main studio and hallway.
- Condition of Space Upon Exit – The Studio must be returned in substantially the same condition as the Client found it upon arrival. Failure may result in cleaning or damage fees.
- Payment and Cancellations –
- Upon submission of a booking request, a Google Calendar appointment will be created and an invoice will be issued as soon as practicable. A booking is not confirmed until payment is received in full. Full payment is required within five (5) days of invoice issuance.
- Cancellations submitted in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled Session date are eligible for a seventy-five percent (75%) refund. The remaining twenty-five percent (25%) of the total invoice is non-refundable and is retained by Studio. as a deposit.
- In the event of severe weather that materially prevents travel, refund or credit determinations will be made at the sole discretion of Studio.
- Commercial Client Insurance Requirement – Commercial clients must carry general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and able to provide proof upon request.
- Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability – Client assumes all risks and releases Indiana Mosaic and its owners from liability to the fullest extent permitted by Indiana law, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- Indemnification – Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Studio from claims arising from use of the Studio.
- Governing Law – This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
- Acceptance – By booking or using the Studio, Client agrees to these terms.
